“So we are trying something. A 'rolling' EP. A collection of songs that we slowly add to as Patrick finishes tracks for his next solo album, but earmarks a few for this ‘growing’ EP of songs he’s entitled ‘Lips Of Joy EP’. As Patrick works towards a new album to be released next year, we've decided to experiment with how we are sharing the music with you. With the ‘Lips Of Joy EP’, once you've purchased it, at whatever stage, new songs will automatically be added to your purchase and you can download them at will. This EP will, for now, NOT be available on streaming services. It will only be available in two places. BANDCAMP and a new collectors’ site, an artist co-op experiment, SUBVERT. Like I say, we are experimenting.
We are debuting the EP with the first two songs 'Slow' and 'The Day Before', all written and performed by Patrick Michael Dennis in his home studio(s), (since covid and his past release, he’s moved the studio setup a few times.).
So, it's a ‘growing’ EP and it’s all yours. Let us know how you like the idea, and any other thoughts. We've got so many pieces of music from Patrick that we wanted to get them out and share them, while he stays in his cave making more.
